Here we go. This is the 2021 end of season update for my Dynasty Rankings Compilation. This is based on available publicly sources and subscription sources (whose rankings have been kept as private as possible). Linked Sources on the sheet are Fantasy 6 Pack, Fantrax, Baseball Pods, (along with the information kept private from the rankings of Imaginery Brick Wall, Dynasty Guru, ESPN, Rotowire, The Athletic, Baseball Prospectus, and Prospect One/ITL) dynasty rankings. I am trying to keep the subscription rankings private to respect the creators, so please let me know if I accidentally share anything that is private – please support the original creators by subscribing to their sites – it is worth it.

As background, BobtheMule on reddit did some baseball compilation (or aggregate) rankings a few years back. After the short 2020 season, I put together my own versions for Dynasty Rankings, Prospect Rankings, and FYPD Rankings. I found that these helped me smooth out my valuations when thinking about drafting, FA pick ups, and trading. Since each list has several sources, it helps to begin to establish something like a market value for players in dynasty baseball. While watching the 2020 playoffs, I worked on these lists.
Fastforward to 2021, I’ve been unofficially maintaining these lists for my own use and shared them with one or two leagues for feedback. For this update, I removed any pre-season 2021 updates and focused on the most recent updates of some of the larger, more reputable sites. Each site has their own methodology but this list should give people a directional idea of valuations and potential for trades. A bit of work goes into this – probably about 12 hours total, so updates will be infrequent. Anyway, I’d love to hear from people on this. Thanks – Rip.
